(Main functional application of the universal PC-Measuring System)

The system can be used for different measuring tasks in the area of ship technology. Optional Software-Links provides the interactive data transfer with GLOBAL FLEET CONTROL 40 and with the documents and databases of the system range MAINTENANCE.

Function Range:
Measuring of the combustion pressure of the individual cylinders

• Measuring and comparison of the total pressure sequence during the combustion cycle,
• Measuring and comparison of the pressure peak,

System Components:

  
• Pressure transducer and evaluation device    
• Notebook-PC with printer for local online-measurements (incl. Aluminium box for measuring devices with substructure and sea securing supports for placing at any locations in closed spaces) with alternative location in the engine control room. • Crankangle transducer with reference signal (TDC/BDC) of one cylinder with the proper synchronizing electronic.
• Data acquisition system with proper PC-Interface (e.g. PCI-Bus, PCMCIA, USB or parallel).  
• Optional system expansions for the additional measurement of analog measuring values, as temperatures, pressures, frequencies a.o. Upon request we can supply the corresponding transducers and signal amplifiers.
